Below is details on how to create a successful image of the chosen technique.
There is a variety of ways in which you can display or use sequencing within your images. One way in which sequencing can also be shown is through animation which will be explained within another post. Below are two different types of photos I created and how they was done so.
- Decide on the type of sequencing of which you would like to display. Creating a basic plan within your head. For a sequencing montage you follow these steps.
- Take the chosen amount of photos which may show a movement or sequence of events.
- Upload all images onto a computer and open them within photoshop.
- Make any changes or adjustments you wish to make to the following images (e.g. lighten changes, removing blemishes ect.)
- Make all the photos which you are using the same size by adjusting the setting on the crop tool (this can be done by adjusting the number which would appear on the top left hand of the screen, as shown in the image below, however make sure they the option next to the resolution is set to px/inch)
- Open a new document (size will depend on the amount of images and how many and how they will be positioned)
- Place all the images which you are using onto the new document and line them up how you wish.
This type of sequencing in now complete and ready to be saved and shared, however it will need to be saved as a jpeg.
- Decide on the type of sequencing which you would like to display and create a basic plan of how you wish to do so
- Take a variety of images with a person or object in the different places section you would like (Make sure you take the on a tripod and from the same position- this makes it easier to edit later on)
- Upload all images to a computer and open within photoshop
- place all the photos which you wish to use on one photo as layers
- If the photos were taken accurately you will be able to rub the area around each person out and keep just the person however leaving one image alone creating the back ground. A few adjustments of the people lighting ect, may be needed.
This type of sequencing is now complete and ready to be save and share, however it will need to be saved as a jpeg due to the amount of layers.
