Plans and expectations
For this shoot I am going to take a selection of 3 images which represent sequencing. The first image will consist of 5 images showing a movement or change and I will place these together in a multiple imagery, displaying the sequence of events which occurred. For my next image I will place my camera on a tripod in a given area and display the same person in a variety of places showing there movement through the scene, however this effect will need to be created later on by adjustment the images within photoshop. My last image for sequencing will be an animation, showing a person moving in a particular way.
Evaluations
The sequencing piece above shows five images in a line and each image displaying a different movement. The five images in this line provides this smooth transition of movement through the people. However I think this image lacks creativity and could have involved a different idea to create a more interesting piece. For these images I used a focal length of 38mm with a shutter speed of 1/200 seconds, ISO of 200 and f/9 setting. I don't think there is anything wrong with the images or there quality, the only difference I would make if I was to recreated a piece like this with a similar layout would be to change the ideas to something more interesting as previously stated.
These photos were taken with the same camera setting as the previous set of images. The finial image shown to the left was within Photoshop, converting 5 images into one. Allowing different versions of the same person who is moving around to be shown within the sequence. Although the image is simple I like the way the person enters through the left side of the image and leaves through the right. The way in which this person is positioned and shown within the pieces helps to clearly represent each stage of the person movement, this is due to no overlaying of the person from each frame. Helping to maintain a clear focus on the person and not create a cluster or messy part of the image, helping to maintain a composition. I also like how depth is created in this image as the person becomes bigger when closer to the camera.
A detailed step by step explanation of how I created these images is linked below.
The animation on the left was created to show a sequence of movement by the man. Paul is placed in three different positions and alters between them through the animation, creating a sequence. I believe the timing in this animation works well and portrays the clear idea of a sequence of movements.
I created this animation in the same way as described in the post linked below.
Progression
I really enjoyed working with these techniques I used within this shoot. I think sequencing does not have to be displayed in a very boring and basic way as which I did within this shoot and I wish to develop on this techniques I have learnt and used it within shoots later on. I feel I will use a large amount of animations within my unit due to the effect it gives images.
a good post here, To gain a stronger grade I suggest writing how the the image was created through Photoshop as a gif, using the "Time line" editing... a short paragraph is required again to demonstrate this and if available a screen print of your animation from Photoshop as evidence of the process.
