Work Diary- Shoot 10(Multiple exposure)

Plans and expectations

For this shoot I plan explore multiple exposure image. My camera does not have the ability to be able to create multiple exposure images therefore I will take a selection of images and adjust them within Photoshop.

Evaluations

Above are the two images I used to create the multiple exposure image shown below. Before I shoot for this Shoot I decided to use a photo I had taken previously and try a few of the technique which was shown online. I thought this would help me take the images as I would be able to take images which I know would work as a multiple exposure image and I was able to edit later on. All the video which I watched to help create this multiple exposure are listed below however they was all very complex or unique to the individual images. As it can be seen in the screenshot to the right the ways in which I tried required a lot of layers and adjustments, his made it very confusing at some points. I therefore researched more into how I could create the effect. I found a much simpler way and decided to use this for the next images within my shoot. To the left is the finial piece I  had after trying to combined the two images I feel that the image could be much better however after spending so much time on it I decided to more on and go out and take images which I  knew would work.

(One other video which I used has since been removed from you tube, however it was very similar to the ones linked above)

The screenshot to the left show how simple it was to create this image. I dragged the image of the girl onto the image of the trees. I then adjusted the blend setting in a variety of ways before deciding to use the setting 'lighten' this option can be seen about the layers on the right hand side. This created this effect. I made a few further adjustments and was done. I think this effect works very well and has create a variety of intriguing pieces, I really like how this has displays different textures and created some unique colours. Below is the two separate images used to create this piece.

Progression

I really enjoyed shooting for this shoot. I think it has created very interesting images and has helped me think more about the individual images before taking them and consider which images will be successful. This shoot has been an overall large learning experience for me due to the amount of work I done within Photoshop and how much it has increased my knowledge within Photoshop.
