For my first shoot within this project based purely on my brief I will explore close ups. I wish to experiment with close up to again skills which will help later on with more adventurous ideas. From this shoot I expect to develop on my knowledgeable and understand of my camera when involved in taking close ups.
Evaluations
For this shoot I worked at home. I used a variety of different ornaments and decorations used for Christmas. I am happy with how this shoot turned out. I involved and few photographic techniques including a multiple imagery, which is evaluated below.
I like how this image shows a few different selections of a decoration. Showing a variety of different details. I feel by gathering these images it produces a more interesting piece as a single one of this image may be slightly boring.
as a series of pictures they work, you do however need to evaluate the imagery further... I am writing this as a formula that you can apply to other posts...
ReplyDeleteVisual language: connotations what is implied (Christmas, festivities, traditions, gifts) denotations: how have the formal elements influenced your photography (composition, colour, and other formal elements). Technical camera settings (depth of field, aperture shutter speed).... context how does the work relate to your main theme concept. remember you were all asked to write a written statement regarding the type of personal investigation you intended to embark on..
Finally you have posted a gif, which is great but why did you produce the gif...
in other words you need to discuss your image making more in this and in other posts.
